Johnson Wins University Teaching Award


Professor Johnson, assistant professor in the Department of Administration of Justice, has won a 2010 Teaching Excellence Award from the provost and the Center for Teaching Excellence.  This award recognizes outstanding teaching and the significant work that faculty members devote to course planning and preparation, curriculum development, and innovative teaching, advising, and mentoring.  Dr. Johnson received her award from Provost Stearns at a ceremony held in the Center for the Arts on April 12.  The ceremony was attended by President Merten, Jack Censer, dean of the College of Humanities and Social Sciences, and faculty and students from across the university.
