CLS Graduate Students Receive Student Paper Award

Matthew Nelson and Alese Wooditch, doctoral students in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society, have received the 2013 Student Paper Award from the American Society of Criminology's Division of Experimental Criminology for their paper titled “A Replication Study of Weisburd’s Paradox" (co-authored with Lisa Dario).  This award is given for an outstanding paper involving experimental field trials, or theoretical or policy questions in the area of experimental criminology.
