Cody Telep, Mason PhD recipient and Assistant Professor of Criminology and Criminal Justice at Arizona State University, and David Weisburd, Distinguished Professor of Criminology, Law and Society, have received the 2016 Donal MacNamara Award for Outstanding Journal Publication from the Academy of Criminal Justice Sciences. They received the award with colleague Renee Mitchell for the article "How much time should the police spend at crime hot spots? Answers from a police agency directed randomized trial in Sacramento, California," published in Justice Quarterly in 2014.
