The Fairfax County Board of Supervisors today appointed alumnus, Police Chief David M. Rohrer, as deputy county executive. He will begin his new position Oct. 20.

The Mason Alumni Association recently inducted eleven graduating seniors into the Golden Quill Society, including Criminology Law and Society majors DeShonta Garner, Christina Lauderdale and Joy Sheppard. The Golden Quill Society recognizes outstanding student leaders and offers opportunities for leadership as alumni. We congratulate our students on their achievements and well-earned recognition!
