A seminar in which the health and safety best practices for first responders are examined. The topics discussed are physiology of aging, nutrition, cardio-vascular disease, stress management, substance abuse, and the implications of the Heart Lung Bill on first responders. Students will learn the fundamentals of fitness assessment and individualized wellness program prescription.
