Through AMA’s permanent collection, one of the most vital sources of modern and contemporary Latin American and Caribbean art in the United States, this exhibition examines and generates a dialogue about cultural diversity.

Discuss your path to Design 3 and work with CHSSWeb staff to review your site. We will hold multiple sessions on this topic.

This 45-minute practice will consist of Qigong and Tai Chi exercises, light Kungfu exercises, and gentle stretching. The meditative quality of these movements will be the main focus of instruction. Each practice will begin with a 5-10 minute discussion around the principles of these practices and participants will learn about their bodies from the inside out. Please wear stretchy clothes for your comfort.

This summer, the Institute for Immigration Research [IIR] at George Mason University is hosting a series of events focusing on immigration. The “IIR Spotlight on Immigration” aims to start a dialogue about U.S. immigration and immigrant’s contribution to the U.S. economy. Set on a monthly schedule starting in June and ending in August of 2013, the series will host a variety of events from movie showings to student-centered presentations on the issues at hand. Join us on Wednesday June 26, 2013 as we feature “Golden Door” a 2006 drama film based on a family's migration from Italy to New York, U.S.A. at the beginning of the 20th century. This event will be held at the Johnson Center Cinema at 2:00PM. All are welcome to attend!
