The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is proud to honor Max Milien, Jr., BS Law Enforcement '90, with the 2023 Distinguished Alumni Award - Criminology, Law and Society. Max Milien, Jr., has been a special agent with the United States Secret Service for 29 years.

Victoria A. Greenfield, a Faculty Affiliate in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society, was awarded the 2023 European Society of Criminology Book Award for her book Assessing the Harms of Crime: A New Framework for Criminal Policy (co-authored with Letizia Paoli, 2022, Oxford University Press).
