Section Information for Spring 2019
This class will examine the effects of September 11, 2001, on law enforcement organizations in the United States and explore the evolving relationships between military, federal, state and local law enforcement agencies in the post September 11, 2001 era. Emphasis will be on understanding the framework of homeland security in the United States and issues faced by law enforcement. This course will help you define terrorism, its history, both internationally and domestically, and the role of Homeland Security.
