This course will teach students the theoretical basis of counterintelligence and familiarize them with the specific vocabulary professionals in this discipline use. The course uses historical examples and case studies to introduce the legal authority, objectives, and guidelines of the counterintelligence discipline and provide examples of the investigative, defensive, offensive, and collection activities of the counterintelligence function.
