Focuses on the study of law as an institution that continuously interacts with other social institutions at the individual, community, state, and federal levels. Examines how constitutional and statutory laws are interpreted by the courts to determine and define the law through contemporary, controversial, legal issues. Explores how the courts, using the law, resolve today's most controversial issues. May not be repeated for credit.
