About Advising

All graduate students are assigned a faculty advisor upon entering the program. For more information about faculty advisors, click here.

MS (and BAM) students will be assigned an academic advisor, Brielle Manovich. These students are strongly encouraged to meet with their advisor prior to each semester's registration period to discuss and plan course options for future semesters.

MA/PhD students should also meet with their advisor at least once per semester, especially ahead of registration periods. These students can meet with their faculty advisor and/or the Director of Graduate Programs to discuss and plan course options for future semesters. PhD students will need to submit an updated degree progress worksheet each summer as part of the Student Activity Report (SAR) process. The Graduate Coordinator is able to review these degree progress worksheets prior to SAR submission.
