Barry A. Zweig has been a licensed Virginia attorney since 1996. He began his career as an Assistant Public Defender in Loudoun County, Virginia. In 2001, Mr. Zweig relocated to Prince William County as an Assistant County Attorney representing the Department of Social Services. In 2002, he opened his own law firm, focusing his practice on complex criminal litigation and representing clients charged with the most serious crimes. In 2013, he joined with Joseph W. Thelin and the firm Zweig & Thelin, PLLC continued Mr. Zweig's focus on complex criminal litigation. In 2017, Mr. Zweig joined the Prince William County Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney and in January, 2019, he joined the Loudoun County Office of the Commonwealth's Attorney.
Mr. Zweig was born and raised in New Jersey, moving to Vermont to attend college. After college, he worked in New York City, and in 1991 moved to Europe for a year and a half, living in Nice, France and Budapest, Hungary. In 1993, he moved to San Diego, where he attended law school.
