Michelle Nuneville teaches Introduction to Criminal Justice, Criminal Justice Ethics and Law Enforcement and Homeland Security, as an adjunct professor. She retired as a police Captain with the Arlington County Police Department in October 2018, after serving for over 34 years. Before her retirement, she commanded the police department's Homeland Security Section. She has also worked in a number of fields, including community policing, emergency communications, criminal investigations, domestic violence, and police ethics. She remains a member of the International Association of Police Chiefs and Arlington's Leadership Center for Excellence.
