Solette Magnelli has spent more than two decades pursuing criminal prosecutions and investigations in both state and federal courts. Among other positions, Mrs. Magnelli has served as: a clerk with The Supreme Court of Virginia; an Assistant Commonwealth Attorney in Fairfax, Virginia; a Trial Attorney in the Criminal Section of the Department of Justice’s Civil Rights Division and in the Eastern District of New York; a Special Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Colorado; an Assistant United States Attorney in the District of Maryland and Chair of the Maryland Human Trafficking Task Force; a Senior Attorney with the Drug Enforcement Administration; and an Assistant General Counsel with the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Critical Incident Response Group. Currently, Ms. Magnelli is the Associate Director/Chief Legal Counsel at the Fusion Center, which is the intelligence branch of DOJ's Organized Crime Drug Enforcement Task Forces (OCDETF).
