PhD in Criminology, Law and Society

The Criminology, Law and Society PhD program has taught me the importance of building bridges between research and practice, and this mentality has facilitated my entrance to the job market. Thanks to the mentors I found as a doctoral student I have been able to meet, connect, and begin important job relationships that have expanded my opportunities beyond academia. Altogether this resulted in an important job in my home country, Colombia, where I currently lead the only governmental reentry program in the country.
