As a former justice practitioner, the Criminology, Law and Society faculty at Mason train us not simply to raise and research important questions but also to link our research to practice in the field. Faculty members are eager to mentor students, which has allowed me to co-author papers, attend conferences, and make connections across the country. I cannot imagine having chosen a better program for my doctoral studies.
