Dr. David Weisburd, University Professor in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society at Mason and Professor of Law and Criminal Justice at The Hebrew University has won the 2011 Klachky Prize for the Advancement of the Frontiers of Science. This annual award is given to Hebrew University faculty members or units for their achievements. Dr. Weisburd was recognized for his "pioneering investigative techniques on white collar crime and the prevention of crime, which contribute to the understanding of the essence of crime and delinquency, as well as assisting the study of criminology."
