Shannon Magnuson, a doctoral student in Criminology, Law and Society, has received the 2021 Ben Steiner Excellence in Corrections Student Paper Award from the Division on Corrections and Sentencing of the American Society of Criminology. The title of Shannon's paper is "Separate, But Not That Different: Restricted Housing Unit (RHU) Reform for Individuals with Severe Mental Health Diagnoses.” Congratulations, Shannon!
