Jonathan McElderry honored with 2025 alumni service award

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is proud to honor Jonathan McElderry, BA Administration of Justice '06, with the 2025 CHSS Alumni Service Award.  

McElderry is a nationally recognized scholar, educator, and leader in higher education. A proud first-generation college graduate, he currently serves as dean of student inclusive excellence and assistant professor at Elon University and is the 86th president of ACPA–College Student Educators International. His research and leadership focus on advancing equity, supporting historically marginalized students, and developing inclusive campus environments.
