CLS Career Closet provides professional outfits for students

The new Criminology, Law and Society Career Closet is open! The Career Closet provides a professional outfit free of charge to CLS students who are trying to secure a job or internship. This initiative was designed with participants of the department's Internship Program in mind, but any CLS student seeking a job can come by the closet.

Acquiring professional clothing is a barrier to entry for the professional world, so this new endeavor is a way to help CLS majors as they start their careers. So far, the Career Closet has outfitted seven students with blazers and pants for the upcoming George Mason Career Fair. All of the clothing items were donated to the Career Closet.

If you would like to help grow the Career Closet, the department is accepting donations of clean professional attire - suitable for interviews - for men and women. Please bring any donations to the CLS office in Enterprise 354.
