Associate Professor Andrew Novak was named a 2026 Online Teacher of Distinction by the Online Teaching Excellence Awards Selection Committee, who found his contributions to online student learning at George Mason University to be meaningful, relevant, and valuable. This distinction recognizes the exceptional quality of his online teaching portfolio and his deep and sustained commitment to students.
Novak will be recognized at the 2026 Celebration of Teaching Excellence ceremony on April 13 for this achievement.
