CLS Graduate Students Help Translate Research into Practice

Criminology, Law and Society graduate students working at the Center for Advancing Correctional Excellence (ACE) are helping translate research into practice by writing research updates in Perspectives, the journal of the American Probation and Parole Association.  Doctoral students Stephanie Ainsworth and Jennifer Lerch wrote the inaugural article, which focuses on cognitive-behavioral therapy programs for higher-risk offenders.  Their article can be found on pages 32-36 of the summer edition of Perspectives prefaced by a short introduction from CLS Professors Faye Taxman, Danielle Rudes and Shannon Portillo (see pages 30-31).
