King, Lum Win Emerging Researcher Awards

The College of Humanities and Social Sciences is extremely proud that two of its faculty members have been chosen to receive the 2012 Mason Emerging Researcher/Scholar/Creator Award. The university will recognize Dr. Eden King, from the Department of Psychology, and Dr. Cynthia Lum, from the Department of Criminology, Law and Society.

The Emerging Researcher/Scholar/Creator Award is given to three Mason faculty members each year who show exceptional promise in their disciplines. It recognizes the very best in the university’s younger scholars. Of the three emerging scholars chosen this year, two represent departments in the college.

The awardees will be formally announced and recognized at the October 31, 2012 Celebration of Achievements reception, hosted by the Office of the Provost and the Office of Research and Economic Development.
