Developing Skills
Students from the College of Humanities and Social Sciences present their original research at the CHSS Undergraduate Research Symposium at the Fairfax campus.

The Department of Criminology, Law and Society offers unique opportunities to undergraduate students.  Many criminology, law and society majors choose to participate in the internship program, which offers a wide-range of placements with local and federal agencies. Others enroll in the honors seminar to conduct original research on justice-related issues with a faculty member. All students, including those pursuing a minor in intelligence analysis, develop the skills necessary to obtain employment in their chosen field or to pursue law or graduate degrees.
