The Department of Criminology, Law and Society offers students access to its faculty's excellent connections in local and federal government agencies, research institutes, and academia. Recent visitors to the department include former directors of the National Institute of Justice, a U.S. Court of Appeals judge, and the U.S. Attorney General.
Graduate students in the MS program learn from faculty who have extensive practitioner experience while those in the MA and PhD programs work closely with faculty who are immersed in research partnerships with criminal justice agencies and organizations, providing hands-on training in the field.
