Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy Holds Joint Symposium with Police Foundation

The Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy (CEBCP), a research center affiliated with the Department of Criminology, Law and Society, held a Symposium jointly with the Police Foundation on August 17 and 18.  A large group attended the Symposium to hear presentations on topics such as policing and communities of color, new research on body-worn cameras, school safety, bullying and prevention, investigations and early warning systems, crime patterns at places and in communities, and a very popular talk by three members of the President's Task Force for 21st Century Policing.
