Explores the range of judicial and nonjudicial responses after conflict or democratic transition to ensure accountability after atrocities or human rights abuses. Considers trials, truth commissions, amnesties, reparations, and other policies within their social, political, and global contexts. Offered by Criminology, Law and Society. Limited to three attempts.
Recommended Prerequisite: CRIM 405.
