Book Discussion with Dr. Jamie Fader

The Social Justice Collaborative, housed in Mason’s Department of Criminology, Law and Society, is delighted to host Dr. Jamie Fader for a discussion of her new book, On Shifting Ground: Constructing Manhood on the Margins. We hope to see many of you for what promises to be a lively conversation about race, gender, and social inequality!

Dr. Fader, an associate professor at Temple University, is an award-winning book author and one of criminology’s leading qualitative scholars. She is the founder and director of the Qualitative Research Network in Criminology and Criminal Justice. Her areas of expertise include stigma/criminalization of youth, life course theory, race/gender, and corrections.
