In celebration of our one-year anniversary, we are pleased to announce our first symposium, “Undoing the Effects of Mass Incarceration,” on January 14, 2011, co-sponsored by The Prison Fellowship and U.S. Senator Jim Webb’s office (VA). The symposium addresses the impact of our mass incarceration policies, and includes scholars presenting current research along with discussions by individuals affected by these policies. The symposium also features Senator Jim Webb, Pat Nolan of The Prison Fellowship and a host of correctional scholars, policymakers and practitioners working toward innovative solutions for undoing America’s over-reliance on mass incarceration. We will host this free event at The Mason Inn on George Mason University’s Fairfax campus. REGISTER NOW for this event!!
