Describe your dissertation, thesis, or capstone:
I completed a white paper in my capstone this semester. My research project was: What are the Determinants of Effectiveness in Juvenile Delinquency Prevention Programs?
How did you choose your specific area of study?
I have always wanted to work within Law Enforcement which has drove me in the direction of Criminal Justice.
How did your academic experiences in the College of Humanities and Social Sciences impact you?
My academics experiences has opened me up to so many resource's and many new connections.
Of which accomplishment(s) during your time at Mason are you most proud?
Winning the A10 Softball Championship game and playing in regionals at Duke University.
Are there faculty or staff members who made a difference during your Mason career?
Dr. Carr has encouraged me to be a better person and to always be ready to step into the breach!
What advice would you give to an incoming cohort of graduate students?
When times seem tough, there is an end in sight and keep working hard!
What are your current career plans following graduation? What are your long-term career goals?
I plan to work for the Federal Government and my long-term career goal is to work for the FBI.
