Hailey Khatchatourian is a doctoral student in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society. She currently serves as a research assistant in the Center for Evidence-Based Crime Policy under Dr. Lum and Dr. Koper. In 2022, she received a Bachelor of Arts from University at Albany after double majoring in Criminal Justice and Psychology. She also received her Master of Arts in Criminology, Law and Society from George Mason University in 2024. Her research interests include police legitimacy, police-community relations, policing strategies, and evidence-based crime policy.
