John C Bazaz

John C. Bazaz is a licensed attorney and adjunct professor at George Mason University, where he teaches undergraduate courses on constitutional law, with a focus on the criminal process. He brings over 20 years of legal experience to the classroom, including managing his own law firm and representing clients in complex civil and criminal matters in both state and federal courts.
Professor Bazaz is particularly interested in helping students understand how constitutional principles shape legal outcomes and civic life. He employs the Socratic method to encourage critical thinking, dialogue, and analysis of landmark U.S. Supreme Court cases.
Outside the university, he also serves as a high school football coach in Fairfax County, where he is committed to mentorship, leadership development, and student engagement both on and off the field.
