Mike Dillemuth is a Marine Corps veteran and an adjunct faculty member in the Department of Criminology, Law and Society.  He resigned his commission as a Captain in 1989 in order to begin working in the field of intelligence and national security.  Mike subsequently retired from government service after serving over 35 years in the Intelligence Community.   The majority of his assignments were with the Central Intelligence Agency and the National Reconnaissance Office.  Over the years, he worked closely with military elements as well as the Office of the Undersecretary of Defense for Intelligence and Security.

Mike's career entailed work in both the domestic and overseas environments.  He left government service as a senior officer with direct experience in managing large security organizations and programs.  His career involved work in personnel security, counterintelligence, physical/technical security, SCIF accreditation, emergency services, and activities with other government agencies.

Education

Mike is a graduate of the Virginia Military Institute and holds a Master's Degree in Strategic Intelligence from the Joint Military Intelligence College (aka: National Intelligence University).
