Academic Standards Policy

As of Fall 2024, George Mason has instituted a new Academic Standards policy that applies to all students at the university. Please review the ASOS website to become familiar with this new policy and update your course syllabi to inform your students about the new standards. You are strongly encouraged to create an ASOS module in your course Canvas shell or allocate some class time at the beginning of the semester to discuss the new standards with your students. You must include a Generative AI policy in your syllabus in accordance with the new Academic Standards policy.
