Classroom Technology
The George Mason University Stearns Center has a guide on their website with information about the features of classrooms and how to take advantage of the classroom features to enhance your teaching and engage students.
Technical issues experienced in a classroom can be reported to Classroom Support, either by calling the number posted in each classroom for immediate assistance or by following the steps to submit a work order under the “Classroom Help” link here: Service - Classroom Support. Classroom Support maintains the AV equipment in scheduled classrooms. Repair or replacement of equipment that will take longer than a few minutes will be done between class periods.
If something other than technology is not functioning correctly in your classroom (e.g., temperature too high or low, water leak, broken furniture, etc.), please contact Classroom Support. Alternatively, you may contact the Administrative Support Specialist to submit a work order ticket if necessary.
