Your Patriot Pass password will also be used to access your Microsoft 365 account. George Mason uses the Microsoft 365 system, which includes Outlook (email), Teams (group and individual messaging), and OneDrive (file management). Your email address is automatically assigned to you; it uses the format: [NetID]@gmu.edu. We've also linked step by step guides for adding the Outlook app to your iOS or Android mobile device.
IMPORTANT: All employees of George Mason are required to use their George Mason email account for all communications with students, faculty, and staff. Even if you are not teaching, you should check your email frequently for university, department, or student communications.
