Patriot Pass Account

Your Patriot Pass account is used to access most systems at George Mason. To activate your account for the first time, please follow the instructions at the following link: How to Sign Up for Patriot Pass - Information Technology Services.    

What you need before you get started:  

• G Number: This is your Mason Identification Number that uniquely identifies you. Your G Number is on your Mason ID or you can get this from your department Office Manager.  
• Claim Code: If this is your first time activating your Patriot Web account, the claim code is your birthdate in the following format: 020179 (Feb. 1, 1979). You can use it, along with a G Number on the Password Management link to get your NetID and password.  
• Access to a telephone – preferably a smartphone: This is for 2FA enrollment (two factor authentication system). If you have a smartphone, download the Duo Mobile application from your device’s app store to be ready to enroll.
