In-person and virtual advising services are available. As a courtesy, advisors wear face masks for all in-person advising sessions.

How Do I Schedule an Appointment?

Advising appointments are scheduled through NavigateMason.  Instructions are below for current CRIM major advising, as well as advising for non-CRIM majors (minors, prospective change of majors, etc.).

Appointment Policies/Expectations

  • Appointments can be made no less than 8 hours in advance of the selected start time.
  • If you are 15 minutes late for your scheduled appointment you must reschedule; no exceptions.

 

Need to Cancel?

If you need to cancel your appointment, please do so with as much notice as possible. You may cancel and/or reschedule your appointment via NavigateMason, or by e-mailing your advisor in advance.

 

Walk-In Advising

Regular walk-in advising is held on Wednesdays from 10:00 a.m.-3:00 p.m. Please note that only 1-2 advisors will be on walk-ins on these days.  If you want to know when your assigned advisor will be available for walk-ins, please check her NavigateMason calendar.

Due to previously scheduled advising appointments and other administrative commitments, advisors cannot accommodate walk-ins outside of these days.  If you are in need of assistance and unable to meet with your advisor during her posted availability, please email her directly.
